HISTORY AND DEFINING GOALS

PAINTBUSTERS BEGAN nearly 20 yrs ago to see the beauty of wood in old furniture.

In 1985, we were asked, "could we strip a staircase?"

It took two years to develop our Paintbusters System:

A CHEMICAL THAT WORKS FAST, always, any type or combination of paints and/or finishes: anywhere, doorway, upside down or on a vertical surface!

PERFECT MASKING to protect surfaces and area we were NOT stripping, for example, the walls or finished hardwood floor.

At the 1987 Spring Cincinnati Home and Garden We declared ourselves; Open for business, Ready to strip and refinish Architectural Woodwork!

DBA ON SITE WOOD RESTORATION, We offered our services to the public as Architectural refinisher's. From that day to this, we have not lacked for projects stripping the incredible trim fashioned by German woodworkers, at the turn of the century, and restoring the elegant homes here in Cincinnati. So busy, in fact, that the 'demo for potential do it your selfers became part of our bidding process,

In 1989, we advertised our product in OLD HOUSE JOURNAL, and began shipping our Paintbusters Brand Architectural Stripper, and scrub brushes and aluminum tape, to all 50 states, Canada, the Virgin Islands, The Texas State Capitol Dome was stripped with Paintbusters Brand! (The dome was shown on 20/20, to my pride and delight!)

And we are still at it. More than THREE THOUSAND projects completed ; mantels DEPAINTED, mirrors cleared of paint., and thousands more homeowners empowered to restore their own woodwork, in reasonable time, without life altering labor or risk to property or person, using proven, professional methods to do it.

I still strip woodwork every day, at prices that I quote over the phone, a staircase is a staircase, just count the stories. I know how much time it will take before I start.

And this system, this direct, foolproof, works every time to strip paint, etc., refinish to high degree of beauty, in a relatively short time, I offer to you.
